Qatar is located in the Middle East. It is a peninsula bordering the Persian Gulf and Saudi Arabia. The terrain of Qatar is mostly flat and barren desert covered with loose sand and gravel. Climate: Qatar is desert; hot, dry; humid and sultry in summer.
