Geography

Panama is located in Middle America, bordering both the Caribbean Sea and the North Pacific Ocean, between Colombia and Costa Rica. The terrain of Panama is interior mostly steep, rugged mountains and dissected, upland plains; coastal areas largely plains and rolling hills.

Climate: The climate is mostly hot and dry, desert-like. It is temperate in the northwest and arctic in the north.
