With 0.45 tourists per resident, Jamaica ranked 69th in the world. In Caribbean, it ranked 17th.

Jamaica generated around 3.10 billion US Dollar in the tourism sector alone. This corresponds to 22.44 percent of its the gross domestic product and approximately 10 percent of all international tourism receipts in Caribbean.
