Benin is located in Western Africa, bordering the North Atlantic Ocean, between Nigeria and Togo. It is slightly smaller than Pennsylvania. Its terrain is mostly flat to undulating plain; some hills and low mountains
Climate: tropical; hot, humid in south; semiarid in north
