In 2017 254,704 tourist visited Bhutan. That number is an increase of 21.6% over the year before. Of that number 71,417 were designated International travelers while the balance were regional visitors. 54.7% of the international vistors were from Asia Pacific, followed by 24.8% from Europe and 18% from North America. South Korea had the largest growth while Chin, Japan and Thailand showed lower tourism.
