Sumerian cities

The Sumerians began as a series of City States that devleoped along the Tigres and Uuphrates Rivers. The major cities included Ur Urk and Lagash. The Sumerians developed and advanced agriculture that was able to feed an expanding population. The cities of Sumeria grew to include up to 50,000 people.
