| Educators during the Renaissance believed in liberal studies. The core of that education was the study of history, moral philosophy, rhetoric, grammar, poetry, mathematics, and music. The educators believed that a sound body was important to go with a sound mind, thus there was an emphasis placed on physical education as well. The majority of students in Renaissance school were boys, but some girls were also educated. |
