Lesson: A debate between the small states and the large states:
Duration: Two classes
Divide the class into three groups. Assign one group representation of the small states:
Assign the second group to represent that large states. The third group are assigned to judge the debate-
Use the first class to prepare the debate- the large states learn the details of the Virginia plan and prepare to debate the position. The representatives of the small states learn New Jersey plan and prepare to debate it.
Second Class- A debate is held between the two sides. After both side present the teacher presents the Compromise- Known as the Great Compromise
